Blogging from phone.

I was trying my best to convince myself that I have justifiable reasons for buying a note 4 and somehow stumbled upon my years old blog. So i thought of looking for an app which allowed me to make posts from the phone and as always Google had the answer. Using the blogger app to make posts.

Chillies Takeaway Launched!!!

Recently I was privileged enough to do a campaign on my Bro's business, Chillies Takeaway Restaurant. All items from logo, lettering, business cards, wrappers, menus, web site, facebook page and practically every other promotional material was created by myself under the Ani Creations title.
I wish him all the best on his business and all the good health to carry out the tedious tasks involved.

Colombo Motor Show 2011

Visited the Colombo Motor Show 2011 this morning at BMICH. It was very nice to see bunches of car enthusiasts walking towards the exhibition premises. It was an average collection with a couple of peaks here and there. a very nice Mazda RX8 was parked up front and surprisingly a Porsche Panamera Hybrid was there. the car of the show was the Peugeot RCZ, although it was not yet unveiled during my time there. all in all it was an average car show.
You can check out the sinhala version at AutoLK

AutoLK is up and running.

Car enthusiasts are every where. especially during events such as the Colombo Motor Show. So I've created a blog to post info on auto news in Sri Lanka. The specialty of this particular blogs is that it'll mainly be in Sinhala. Unicode is being used by everyone nowadays. Apart from car news, I've looked at providing an arena for car designers. Some of us can really draw cars. It's a pity that no one hears about them. We'll c how it takes off. Unicode installation links are provided on the blog itself. enjoy the ride...

Who's right and who's wrong? That is not the question!

Being involved in church affairs for the past couple of years has given me so much of experience and knowledge on the community. Change of residence and the society I was interacting with gave me a perspective on how people involve God in their lives in different places. It almost gave me proof on my standing towards God and Religion.

A very organized person I know has been in a major role of a church nearby to my place. He, in his comfort zone believes that the best way to become closer to our God is through strict discipline and correct practicing of rituals. Probably because he had a great mentor who possessed this idea. Another person who used to be a pastor has a very open attitude for rituals and practices. He is very keen to get involved with people, help them through counseling, conduct seminars and workshop etc. Some of the youth I know of are mainly using church related activities to get them selves involved with others which is a very good thing.

The way I see is, God is relative to our feelings. By no means that I'm saying that God is only a concept. What I am saying is, We create an image of God based upon our own image (yes the opposite way), but far more superior. People with open attitudes towards rituals does not want God to be a strict disciplinarian, or the other way around. With this perspective, can anyone of us say that the right way to worship, or practice faith on God is one particular way?

Same goes for the religions. There are so much of christian branches that exist today, no one can say that the correct religion is Catholic, or Reformed or any other. Some of us have stick to our own ideas so much that, sometimes they think the others do not have the right to even exist.
This idea was not influenced by any person or group, on me. It became a thought, after observing so much of activities that was taking place around me.

So you have the right to choose and take sides. what I'm doing here is opening your eyes to the obvious truth.
